Donald Moore
Chairman
Donald Moore joined the HKANY board in 2017 and has been the Chairman of HKANY since Jan 2018. He is the Managing Director of U.S. Legal Advisors, PLLC. Donald is a seasoned global executive, having lived and worked worldwide. He is a lawyer, advisor, and investor in global security, transportation, and infrastructure projects. Donald’s leadership of HKANY has focused on creating financial stability for the organization while developing and hosting events and sharing information that is relevant to its corporate members with respect to trade and investment with Hong Kong.

Diane Zieske
Vice Chair
HSBC is a founding member of HKANY, providing resources since its inception more than three decades ago. Diane joined the HKANY Board in 2012, and has served as Vice Chair since 2015. Diane is presently a Director in the Global Banking Division at HSBC Securities (USA) Inc, where she has banking relationships with large international companies who are active in the global footprint in which HSBC operates. In HKANY, Diane seeks to connect companies operating here, including many with offices, manufacturing and sales forces in the tri-State area and across North America, who are also active in Hong Kong, and to facilitate an understanding of the dynamic business climate they must successfully navigate.

Raymond Wong
Vice Chair
Raymond joined the HKANY Board in 2006 and has been the Vice Chair since 2018. As founder and President of Wong, Wong & Associates P.C., Raymond has carved out a reputation as an expert problem-solver and fierce litigator. Raymond's experiences as a former soldier in the U.S. Army National Guard account for his prominent ability to strategize and fight in our adversarial legal system, while his educational background (with masters and bachelors degrees from the City College of the City University of New York in electrical and chemical engineering, respectively) is reflected in his precise, logical approach to legal problems. Since obtaining his juris doctorate from New York Law School, and founding his firm in 1988, Raymond has helped countless clients and gained extensive experience effectively handling civil litigation, criminal defense, and transactional matters. In HKANY, Raymond aspires to build and cultivate connections between Hong Kong and the U.S.

Elizabeth Lee
Treasurer
Elizabeth has joined the HKANY Board since 2016 and she has been HKANY’s Treasurer since 2016. She is the Senior Vice President, Eastern Region (NY, NJ, MA, MD) at Cathay Bank. She graduated from NYU Stern with her MBA in Global Business, Leadership, Strategy. She is a Senior Executive with 20+ years of Retail Banking, Wealth Management, and Small Business experience. Current President of New York Chinese American Banker Association, Inc.

Sylvia Ng
Secretary
Sylvia joined the HKANY Board in 2002 and is the current Board Secretary. She was previously the Vice Chair (2014-2016) and Secretary (2010-2014). Sylvia is Co-Founder, President and CEO of Powers Global Strategies, LLC, a strategic planning and governmental relations consulting firm. Her experience includes serving in the New York City Mayor’s Office and as counsel to several City entities. Prior to her public sector experience, Sylvia held various positions in marketing, creating corporate sponsorship programs for Fortune 500 companies. As a Hong Kong native, Sylvia is honored to be a long-serving Member of the HKANY Board while working to enhance and support business and cultural exchanges on both sides of the Pacific.

Anna Fan
Board Member
Anna has joined the HKANY Board since she took up the role as Director of HKTDC at New York’s office in 2019. Originally from Hong Kong, Anna is currently overseeing HKTDC’s operations and marketing activities on the East Coast. Anna graduated from the University of Hong Kong with her degree in Economics & Finance and from the Chinese University of Hong Kong for her master’s degree in Law. Anna’s professional experience extends from sales & marketing, editorial & design to business developments covering exhibitions, publishing, e-commerce, and financial service sectors. In HKANY, Anna hopes to connect businesses with more opportunities through Hong Kong.

Sebastien Granier
Board Member
Sebastien has joined HKANY Board since 2014. He is the Head of Corporate Sales, Americas at Cathay Pacific Airways. He graduated from Institut Universitaire de Technologie in France. He is an experienced Sales Director with a demonstrated history of working in the airlines/aviation industry. He is skilled in Negotiation, Business Travel, Airports, Sales Management, and Commercial Aviation. His aspiration of joining HKANY is to further strengthen the links between Hong Kong, New York, and the Americas as a whole.
Sebastien has joined HKANY Board since 2014. He is the Head of Corporate Sales, Americas at Cathay Pacific Airways. He graduated from Institut Universitaire de Technologie in France. Linda joined the HKANY Board since 2010. Linda is the Trade Manager of HKTB responsible to develop marketing strategies and execution with travel trade partners to drive US arrivals to Hong Kong. In HKANY, Linda hopes to build a strong relationship with the members to identify collaboration opportunities to rebuild and sustain Hong Kong’s appeal as the top of mind destination to both the leisure and business visitors.

A member of the HKANY Board since 2015, James is President and Design Principal at KPF, where he leads a staff of over 750 architects in nine offices worldwide. He is an alumnus of Harvard University, University of Cambridge, and Princeton University. His architectural works can be seen around the world, including One Vanderbilt in New York, Blue Pool Road in Hong Kong, China Resources Tower in Shenzhen, Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, Lotte World Tower in Seoul, WINDOW La Défense in Paris, and many more. von Klemperer has lectured at Harvard, Columbia, Tsinghua, Tongji, Seoul National, the ESA in Paris, AMO in Lyon, and Yale. In 2018, he received the American Prize for Architecture from The Chicago Athenaeum. Through HKANY, James develops lasting partnerships and engages in dialogue with leaders of the global business community.

Damien Laracy
Board Member
Damien joined the HKANY Board in 2021. Damien has been practicing law in Hong Kong since 1995 and he is the Head of the Hong Kong Office of Hill Dickinson. Damien specializes in commercial litigation, international arbitration, and insolvency litigation. Damien graduated from the University of Auckland with double bachelor’s degrees in Law and Commerce, and a master’s degree in Commercial Law. At HKANY, Damien hopes to grow and strengthen professional and personal ties with U.S. business and businesspeople. Following a stint working on the ski fields of Colorado in the early 1990's Damien looks forward to again visiting the U.S. and New York one day soon – this time with a credit card that works.

Board Member
Rex joined HKANY Board in 2020. He has extensive experiences in Hong Kong and international taxation and business advisory area. Currently, he is the Hong Kong Tax Desk at Ernst & Young LLP (US). Before joining EY US, he was a Tax Senior Manager at EY Hong Kong. Rex is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an alumnus of The Hong Kong University of Scient and Technology. Being an accounting professional cultivated in Hong Kong, he is in the belief that HKANY can play an essential role to promote Hong Kong as a leading international financial centre.

Wendy is a long-time board member for Hong Kong Association of Atlanta. She expands her support to HKANY in 2022. As the partner leading Aprio’s Chinese practice, Wendy has been advising Chinese companies expanding global presence, and multinational companies operating in China for more than 15 years. Her industry expertise includes manufacturing, wholesale, technology, real estate, blockchain, engineering, pharmaceutical, telecommunication, transportation, e-gaming and other sectors. In HKANY, Wendy hopes to connect with business elites in New York and explore the opportunities to work together.

Candy Nip

Candy has joined HKANY Board as she assumed the position of Director of the Hong Kong Economy and Trade Office, New York in 2020. Candy is an alumnus of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. Since joining the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government in 1997, Candy has worked in various policy bureau and departments, including the Chief Executive’s Office, Private Office of the Chief Secretary for Administration, Tourism Commission and Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau. Candy hopes to collaborate with HKANY to promote business and trade ties.

Andrew is an incredibly supportive member of HKANY in a long time. Andrew has joined the HKANY since the 90s and he was the Chairman of HKANY between 2004 and 2009. Andrew hopes to continue supporting the HKANY. He is now a Partner at McLaughlin & Stern LLP.

Henry Wan
Board Member
Henry is one of the founding members of HKANY Board. Currently, Henry is the President of Wan Development Group. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival. Henry graduated from the University of Illinois, and then moved to New York to start his real estate and construction business. As a founding member of the association, Henry hopes to actively continue supporting HKANY.
Henry is one of the founding members of HKANY Board. Currently, Henry is the President of Wan Development Group. He is also the co-founder and chairman of the annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival.
