David Feldman will discuss exciting investment and job opportunities in the rapidly growing US and global cannabis industry. Growing, selling, possessing and selling cannabis does remain a crime in Hong Kong and China, although the production of hemp is legal in certain Chinese provinces. In countries like the US, Canada, Uruguay and dozens of others, however, either medical or adult use is permitted in some form. Experts believe the trend will continue towards legalization in the US and globally. David will talk about the most attractive verticals for investment within the now $8 billion US industry and how financing is taking place. He will also review the history of criminalization here and where things stand currently from a regulatory point of view.
