[Recap] US-Hong Kong Business Relations, Making the Most of: "One Country Two Systems"

We are happy to support the business luncheon with Mr Kurt Tong, Consul General of USA - Hong Kong and Macau, who shared his view on the actualisation of "One Country Two Systems" in Hong Kong on Jun 26 (Tue).

From right to left:

Ms Joanne Chu - Director of HKETO, New York; Mr Andrew Odell - Attorney at Law, Duane Morris LLP;

Mr Kurt Tong, CG of USA - HK & Macau; Mr Ralph Chow - Director of Americas, HKTDC; Ms Fei-Fei Yeung, Executive Director, HKANY.

As Mr Tong put, Hong Kong possesses locational significance as well as a form of translation of economic, cultural and political forces between US and China. The city is well received by its reliability in business and legal framework which will continuously be observed during the development of Belt and Road and Greater Bay Area.

We had audiences of bankers, lawyers, consultants, as well as UN representatives. We had some good rounds of Q&A from the floor, and Mr Tong handled the questions with wit!

Last but not least, special thanks to Hong Kong Trade Development Council to make the event happen! Check out the tweet here: https://lnkd.in/dz64yqF

P.S. Appreciation to Duane Morris LLP for the venue with the amazing view above Times Square!
