The event "A conversation on U.S.-China relations – where to next?" has come to a successful end with the enormous support from Asia Society Policy Institute and EY New York Office. The Honourable Kevin Rudd AC, 26th Prime Minister of Australia and President of Asia Society Policy Institute discussed with Mr. Donald Moore, Chairman of Hong Kong Association of New York, a wide range of issues relating to U.S.-China relations to a packed room at EY's NYC office on Times Square.
Kevin impressed the audience with his thoughtful and insightful talk. Each of the questions from Donald and the audience was carefully responded and gave everyone a deeper understanding of the issues concerned. Kevin also shared copies of his latest books with the three lucky stars who won the lucky draw!
We are grateful to EY for their hospitality of the event. Mr. Herb Engert, EY's NYC Office Managing Partner, Mr. David Burns, the Australian Tax Desk Leader, and Mr. Rex Lo of the Hong Kong Tax Deck showed their support and led a professional team to make things happen.
But we don't stop there - we look forward to more collaborations with our corporate members. Next month, we will have Cathay Pacific and Duane Morris LLP to discuss sustainability practices in business in Asia. If you are interested in seeking synergy with HKANY, contact us today.
